Tales of Sleep is to a commissioned score by the Danish composer Birgitte Alstead who has worked in dance and theatre throughout Scandinavia. The work is scored for two violins, cello and double bass.
-Brandstrup met the composer of Tales of Sleep at the International Dance Course for Choreographers and Composers 1984 under the direction of Christopher Bruce. Tales of Sleep is designed by Craig Givens.
